Our Shipping Times
Alana's Cherished Treasures ships 6 days a week. Our shipping days are Monday through Saturday except United States Postal holidays and Sundays. We ship every day at 3PM central time. If you placed an order with us before 3PM it will go out that day. Any orders after 3PM will ship the following business day. We send an email to all our buyers as soon as their item is shipped and you will receive that email if we have your correct email address in your account. We also include delivery confirmation on all our U.S. packages with a tracking number to better track your package during delivery.

THE SHIPPING METHODS WE OFFER (United States)

First Class Mail
First Class Mail delivers within 5-10 business days. Postcards, letters, large envelopes and small packages can be sent using First Class Mail. First Class Mail prices are based on both the shape and weight of the item being mailed. Please keep in mind that this method can only be used for items up to .13 ounces.

Priority Mail
Priority Mail delivers within 2-5 business days. It is an upgraded shipping method for most items up to 70 lbs. Rates are based on weight, distance and shape.

Flat Rate Priority Mail
We offer a flat rate shipping option to buyers depending on number of items ordered and what we can do to keep shipping cost down for our buyers. This method works great for multiple orders and other more larger items that would increase shipping cost based on weights. This is not always the cheapest way to go, unless we are working with heavier weights and want to find the best cost for out buyers. Delivery time for this method is the same as the priority mail which is within 2-5 days.

INSURANCE OPTIONS
We add an additional charge to insure all our packages sent. Here are the USPS additional fees we charge to insure your packages.

TYPES OF SHIPPING METHODS WE USE FOR ALL INTERNATIONAL BUYERS
The most economical way to send letters, large envelopes, small packages, postal cards, printed matter, and small packets 4 pounds and under, worldwide. We use this method a lot here at Alana's Cherished Treasures. However, our international buyers may request to have an upgrade to Priority Mail and we will offer that option to them. First Class International
This is the most economical way to send letters, small packages, postal cards, printed matter, and other small packets that weigh 4 pounds and under worldwide. Anything over the 4 pounds will be sent Global Priority mail. Estimated delivery time varies by destination.

Priority Mail International Only
Priority Mail International is an airmail service that provides an economical means of sending correspondence and other items up to 70 pounds to over 190 countries and territories worldwide. Estimated delivery time 6-10 Business Days.

INSURANCE OPTIONS
We can insure only Priority packages to you, and will add that fee to your order as per your request.

COMBINED SHIPPING
Our shipping methods are set up in a way to include combined orders in shipping fees. However, if you feel that you would like an exact weight of your combined order for shipping rates feel free to request an invoice in checkout in the drop down payment option methods.

How Do We Determine Shipping Fees
We base our shipping fees on the total cost of the sale. Due to the large number of various weights of our items, and multiple orders, we have found that this works best. We take an approximate weight of our products based on the cost and work with the USPS Rates to determine an average charge for shipping. However we are always willing to work with any buyer who request an exact weight of their order for shipping options. Feel free to Contact Us if you would prefer an exact weight of your order for shipping fees. We do use a USPS calculated postal scales in our home based on exact weights of a package. Some items may appear to be less in weight than you may expect due to the packing materials that we may be using to secure your items for safety in the transit such as bubble wrap, boxes, and newspapers for stuffing and securing the package during transit. Shipping rates will increased based on USPS rate increases when they occur.

How Do You Know When We Have Shipped?
All our buyers will receive shipping notifications once your package has been shipped. With that shipping information there will be a direct tracking number and link for you to follow your package in transit from our location to yours. This tracking information will also include the exact date that we shipped your package to you.

What If Your Country Is Not Listed?
We ship to most international and all US locations. If you find that your specific country is not listed in your checkout, please contact us and let us know and we will add it so that you can use our checkout to purchase your order.

Do We Offer Next Day Delivery Upgraded Shipping?
No we do not offer this shipping method due to our location we are in a rural area and would have to drive several hours out of town to a bigger post office that ships out for next day delivery which is a 2 hour drive one way. They only offer this one time every day at that location and all orders going next day delivery would need to be at that post office by 1PM central time each day to assure next day delivery. We have struggle with providing this option to our buyers for quite some time and have discontinued it.

Want It In Time For The Holidays?
Please remember that even with upgraded USPS Priority shipping which usually takes 2-5 days based on USPS information, can be delayed during busy times of the year and holidays would also slow down that process and we can not guarantee that your package will arrive in time for the holidays unless you order early enough or if you are not sure depending on your locations, please contact us. The cut off date for USPS delivery to make it by December 25 in the US is to order your items by December 15. We work very hard during the holidays to get your package shipped and will do everything we can to get it there in time as long as you order for the holidays by the 15th. We recommend you chose priority mail for all your orders during the month of December in order to be certain that it will arrive on time.

Free Shipping
We do offer free shipping to all U.S. and International buyers for all orders placed over $100. We also offer free shipping throughout our store on various items and those listings will show the Free Shipping information to the right of each one that offers that.
